Take the Kitchen Challenge with Jacob’s Creek and Airbnb Experiences

If you fancy yourself an at home chef to rival your MasterChef favourites, you can now put your cooking skills to the test thanks to Jacob’s Creek Barossa Signature and Airbnb. For a limited time only, you can book on Airbnb, an exclusive ‘Jacob’s Creek Kitchen Collective’ Experience at a kitchen pop-up in Sydney’s Surry Hills, and get a taste of what it’s like to be a MasterChef contestant without the pressure of being eliminated!

In this hands-on ‘cook, dine & wine’ Experience, your hosts – award-winning chef Daniel Wilson and wine expert Ambar Maddox – join forces to guide guests through two cooking demonstrations to create a delicious entrée and a brag-worthy dessert as guests compete with each other and the clock to replicate each dish. Guests then come together to enjoy their creations as part of a three-course meal, matched with Barossa Signature wines.

The Jacob’s Creek Kitchen Collective Experience is available to book for groups of up to 16 guests, or as smaller groups to share the experience with other diners and make new connections. The Experience is the culmination of Jacob’s Creek’s Barossa Signature partnership with MasterChef Australia as the exclusive wine of choice for season 10 of the show.

Airbnb launched Experiences, unique activities that are handcrafted and led by locals, in Sydney last year, offering a chance for people to enjoy a different side of the city, giving Sydneysiders an opportunity to share their passions and interests with other residents and international visitors alike. In Australia and around the world, cooking Experiences are among the most popular for Airbnb travellers with many of the top-booked Experiences offering hands-on lessons in preparing regional food by local chefs.

As one of Airbnb’s Social Impact Experiences, all proceeds from bookings for the Kitchen Collective Experience will go to MasterChef’s official charity SecondBite. Airbnb waives all fees for Social Impact Experiences so that 100 per cent of the proceeds go directly to the non-profit.

The Jacob’s Creek Barossa Signature MasterChef inspired Kitchen Collective Experience runs until Sunday 12 August. For more information and to book visit airbnb.com/kitchencollective
