As more people seek unique getaways, Airbnb has given travelers a new way to discover the world. To fuel his passion for travel and exploration, model turned actor and India’s Iron man Milind Soman recently chose Airbnb as his abode on a trip to the land of fjords, Norway.
Having recently embarked on a great Himalayan vacation at Everest Base Camp, Milind returned to promptly pack and leave for the cities of Oslo and Tromso to witness the gorgeous northern lights. Checking one of nature’s most stunning sights off his list of adventures, the actor was able to see the aurora borealis from the comfort of his Airbnb homes. He made the most of this quiet retreat, unwinding at his home away from home, as he rang in his 52nd birthday.
The actor was also was able to stick to his routine in these cities while experiencing local life in the arctic region. Soman who is famous for running barefoot, was also seen exploring Norwegian roads while indulging in his most loved activity – running. In his recent social media posts we see him sprinting through the beautiful and snowcapped Tromso with the temperature dipping to minus 4 degrees celcius.
Speaking about his experience, Milind Soman, Actor said:
“The beauty of the Northern lights has always been on my wishlist of nature’s gorgeous wonders to explore, and what better opportunity than my own birthday to indulge! I spent my time in the Arctic living like the locals do, from gazing at the northern lights right from the balcony of my Airbnb homes to exploring the gorgeous snow-capped locales within Tromso and Oslo. The Airbnb homes in Norway felt just like my own home, from doing my morning yoga sessions or taking an awesome morning run in minus 4 degrees, it ensured that I don’t skip the one thing which I love the most. This was truly a perfect and unique birthday retreat.”
