It’s time to start chipping away at this year’s bucket list and make some headway on travel plans. This year, Airbnb is celebrating National Plan for Vacation Day on January 30, encouraging people to break free from excuses and plan for more travel with the use of its newly launched Pay Less Up Front feature.

According to Project: Time Off, more than half (54%) of American workers leave a total of 662 million vacation days unused in past years and a majority (52%) of workers say they are more likely to leave less paid days on the table when they set aside time each year to plan out their vacation days.

To inspire everyone to plan and claim their days off, Airbnb will help one lucky winner chip away at their travel bucket list. On January 30, the 662nd person who books a trip using Pay Less Up Front will receive an Airbnb coupon to put towards future trips to amazing homes in their bucket list destinations!

Where should you go? To inspire wanderlust, here are the top destinations people are saving to their ‘bucket list’-themed wishlists on Airbnb:

How does Pay Less Up Front work? Guests have the option to pay part of the cost at the time of booking, and the rest closer to check-in. To be eligible, the total stay must be $250 or more and the trip must be booked at least 14 days from the check-in date. Usually about three days before the second payment date, Airbnb will send a notification that they will attempt to auto-charge the payment method on file so guests can prepare accordingly.
