In 2017, nearly 475,000 guests stayed at Homes on Airbnb in the United States on Thanksgiving Day and guests from 166 countries stayed with US hosts during the holiday, perhaps to get a taste of the tradition, belonging and turkey. The top origin countries were, based on number of guest arrivals:
