Home Sharing Club Launch in Amsterdam

All over the world, hosts are coming together to connect and exchange ideas – there are over 100 Home Sharing Clubs worldwide. Home Sharing Clubs allow Airbnb hosts to build new relationships with local hosts, discuss issues in their communities and help each other find more information about local rules.

In Amsterdam, home sharers met to launch the first Home Sharing Club in Amsterdam. The event took place at the Rockstart Ballroom, a beautiful classical 17th-century ballroom in Amsterdam’s city centre.

Around 70 home sharers from across Amsterdam came together to share ideas, home sharing experiences and best practices, while providing tips and insights to new home sharers. They also brainstormed ways to address local issues and help make Amsterdam a better place to visit, live and work.

“I’m very keen on working together to spread socially responsible hosting. Contributing together to a better Amsterdam.”

– Andrea, Airbnb host, Amsterdam Zuid-Oost
